Dirty Pretty Things on TLC’s Beauty Spaces

During our segment of the show, Chrissy discusses the inspiration behind Dirty Pretty Things and some of the individual pieces. She also helps three women accessorize with the jewelry. Each woman was taught how to incorporate the jewelry into her style for both a unique daytime and evening look. Pieces from both the Marie Neville Collection and the Medea Maple line were used.

So about their catchy, er, popular name taken also by a band and a movie? “We’ve gotten a lot of mean notes from people about it,” sighs Ippolito. “But it’s jewelry, a totally different thing than a band or a movie!”

Television personality Kim Kardashian and the Troy Smith Foundation hosted a charity event at the Barley House in Cleveland to benefit Haitian earthquake relief efforts. At the Event William Madansdky of Dirty Pretty Things was able to pass on a goody bag filled with DPT jewelry along to Kim Kardashian. We love her style and she was totally stoked to receive the jewelry!

Sara Eudy is a super awesome fan of DPT - she first became a Dirty Pretty girl when she made an online purchase a few months back. Then when I was surfing through our friend posts, I realized that she was a sassy tiny thing that was all inked up w/ killer style! She was a makeup and hair stylist and we teamed up with her on a photo shoot that photo-g Clayton Addison was doing.

We did our first Shecky's Girls Night out event down in Miami on April 30th and May 1st. We are really happy to be able to take our line out to the public and get first hand reactions from the sassy girls in Miami! It was a huge success and it was worth the 6 bags of luggage that we had to tote down there!
